While many may believe that the era of the zine was long past, killed off by the ubiquity of the internet, ex-CBC broadcaster, Julia Wright, talks about her love of the medium, and introduces the new edition of her zine, It’s Burning Off.
Wright talks about the artists’ and writers’ scene in Saint John, the hands-on process of putting together each edition, and the importance of creativity and optimism. Contributor Dr. Gemma Marr adds her perspective on her involvement in the zine, and the inspiration that can be found in the city.
