To put on a big event like the Canadian Mixed Doubles Curling Trials in a small community like Liverpool takes a lot of volunteers. Organizers began planning more than a year and a half ago and have recruited more than 100 people from Queens County and elsewhere to help put on the week-long event from Dec. 30 to Jan. 4.
We spoke to some of the people making sure the curling trials at Queens Place Emera Centre ran smoothly.
