This is the first time that some students at Vancouver Island University can vote in the provincial election and the Vancouver Island University Students’ Union (VIUSU) is making sure students are ready to vote.
Through the Generation Vote Now campaign, VIUSU is speaking to students about the importance of voting and how to register to vote. Caitlin Kellendonk, the Director of External Relations for VIUSU spoke to CHLY about what she has heard from students about the upcoming provincial election.
