Thirty-two of the country’s top curlers were in Liverpool last week for the Canadian mixed doubles curling trials.
They were competing for a chance to represent Canada at the 2026 Winter Olympics in Italy.
Winners Jocelyn Peterman and Brett Gallant are now going on to represent Canada at the world mixed doubles championships in Fredericton in April. That event will help determine the qualifying countries for the Olympics.
