UNB Alumni Ashlee Hossack was one of nine new faculty members and early career researchers who presented their newly launched research programs at the University of New Brunswick’s annual Research Celebration Week.
Hossack graduated with a Ph.D in Civil Engineering in 2015 and was as a consulting engineer for 9 years before returning to UNB as an assistant professor in the same program she graduated from.
Her research studies the use of alternatives to replace part of the cement content in the production of concrete, the world’s second most used building material and aims at reducing the overall environmental impact of the world’s second most used building material.
