Outlander’s Duncan Lacroix is joining Maria Doyle-Kennedy at the Fergus Scottish Festival.
Executive Director of the Fergus Scottish Festival Elizabeth Bender says Lacroix is replacing Charles Vandervaart who had to back out because of a scheduling conflict.
Bender explained they have a great relationship with the agent that represents many of the Outlander stars and after some text messages and emails to confirm his schedule, were able to get Lacroix on board.
She says given that Lacroix’s character “Murtagh Fitzgibbons Fraser” was in a relationship with Doyle-Kennedy’s character “Jocasta Cameron,” having him back at the festival this year is a perfect fit.
The Fergus Scottish Festival runs Aug. 9-11.
