Three people were arrested this past weekend and charged with first degree murder in relation to the death of a 42 year old man from Spaniard’s Bay. On Monday, September 30th, RCMP were called to a a vehicle fire on Country Road in Bay Roberts. Once the fire was out, police found the man’s remains. His name is not being released. The man’s death was ruled a homicide late last week. This past Saturday evening, 28-year-old Stephanie Noftall and 41-year-old Matthew Kavanagh, both of Harbour Grace and 34-year-old Terry Cole of Carbonear, were arrested. They’ve been charged with first degree murder and indignity to human remains.
