Trail local Jake Lucchini finished the NHL regular season with the Minnesota Wild on Thursday. The Trail Smoke Eaters alum played a career high 40 games for the Wild this season.

Lucchini, 28, surpassed his previous games played record of 11 games which he set with the Ottawa Senators in 2022-23. His contract with the Wild expires this summer and he is looking for another opportunity to continue to play in the NHL next season.

Lucchini joined CJLY to discuss his year with the Wild and what is next for his career.
