The logo debate in Erin has come to and end with council voting in favour of returning to the shamrock.
A new design had been presented in September, but online pressure caused councillors to go back to square one.
Less then a month after the new logo was unveiled, town council directed staff to dispense with the new logo and assemble variations of the previously reviewed icons for the implementation of a possible new design.
The town will immediately revert back to the shamrock on social media and email, and also develop a refined and higher resolution version.
