Too Good To Go, a mobile app combatting food waste, has announced a partnership with convenience store chain Couche-Tard to include its stores on the platform. This expansion will enable Sherbrooke residents to purchase surplus food at a reduced price, furthering efforts to reduce food waste.
In addition to this partnership, Too Good To Go has introduced the “Look, Smell, Taste” initiative. This program encourages consumers to use their senses to evaluate food quality before discarding items, aiming to decrease household food waste. Labels with the “Look, Smell, Taste” guidance will soon appear on various food products, promoting awareness and responsible consumption.
CJMQ spoke with Quebec PR spokesperson for Too Good To Go, Nicolas Dot, who highlighted the importance of this partnership and the benefits it brings to the local community.
