The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary is still waiting to find out what caused two sudden deaths over the last two weeks in Corner Brook.
Three other people were treated at hospital for drug use. Meanwhile, police are warning residents of the west coast about the life-threatening consequences of using non-regulated, non-prescription drugs. Cst. James Cadigan says the main reason for issuing the warning is because of the length of time it takes time to find out what caused someone’s death. Police also believe there could be an increase in available illicit drugs.
