Snowblowers will be coming out of hibernation to tackle Corner Brook city streets in an effort to widen roadways after the snowfall. City council talked about the process during Monday night’s public meeting. According to City Manager Rodney Cumby, there are seven main runs throughout the city and it takes upwards of eight hours to complete each run. Extra loaders are assigned to the Curling and Humber Heights runs. Small roads are handled by contractors. CKVB News attended the council meeting and filed a report.
