Six Nations Police confirmed that the department has responded to two separate firearm related incidents since Dec. 15.
The first incident occurred on Dec. 15 at a residence on Onondaga Rd. at approximately 7:30 a.m. Police say the investigation is ongoing and released a picture of a vehicle from the property’s surveillance footage that police say was involved in the incident.
The second incident occurred on Dec. 17 outside a local business on Fourth Line Rd. at approximately 11:10 p.m. Police charged Artur Ivashinnikov of Dundas with a number of criminal weapon related offences in relation to the Dec. 17 incident.
No injuries were reported to police at either incidents.
Six Nations Police were not available for comment to CJKS at the time of publication.
