Four new officers were recognized at the event including Constable Dylan Johnson, Constable Colin Burning as well as female constables Shania Anderson and Emily Smith. Deputy Chief of Police Tim Bomberry was also recognized.
Two special awards were also given out — a lifetime achievement award to retired Chief of Police Glenn Lickers, who established the Six Nations Police Force in 1989; and current Chief of Police Darren Montour was also recognized for his contribution. Elder and advisor to the Six Nations Police Commission Norma General Lickers and Commission Chairperson Steve Williams honoured both men by presenting them with Eagle Feathers.
