Six Nations Chief Sherri-Lyn Hill recently outlined a number of political issues that Six Nations Elected Council (SNEC) are looking to have addressed like the second generation cutoff, Bill C-53 and the community’s ongoing litigation case surrounding the Haldimand Tract.
Chief Hill provided an update on those issues during the Chief & Council Radio Show on Sept. 13.
She says SNEC is working with the appropriate parties on each of those respective issues to have them addressed or the community’s concerns heard.
Hill also says with the 59th Elected Council approaching its first year in office, a political newsletter is being prepared to be released in November to inform community members on the work that has been done or is still currently being worked on by SNEC.
