Six Nations Police confirmed that a six-month drug investigation has resulted in three residents of Selkirk, ON being charged with multiple drug trafficking offences, and a large quantity of drugs being seized.
On Feb. 8, police say they executed two search warrants on a vehicle and residence located in Selkirk. Three people were charged with various drug trafficking offences which included charges related to possession and trafficking fentanyl, hydromorphone, and oxycodone.
Wayne Richard Ireland (44), Dawi Jacobs (42), and Aiden Ireland (18) were all remanded into custody pending a formal bail hearing.
Police say approximately $35,000 worth of drugs was seized, along with bulk currency, prohibited weapons, cell phones and a motor vehicle.
