Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) are investigating a single vehicle collision that has left a 28-year-old Caledonia resident dead.
Police say at approximately 3 a.m. today, members of Haldimand OPP, Caledonia Fire and Caledonia Paramedic Services responded to the incident that occurred at Argyle St. and Highway 6, in Caledonia.
Police say the driver was ejected from the vehicle and pronounced dead at the scene. At this time, police have not confirmed the victim’s sex or any other details.
OPP Constable Patti Cote says road closures have been setup in the area and are expected to remain in place for several hours.
The following roads are closed due the the investigation: Argyle Street and Braemar Drive, and Highway 6 between Greens Road and Fifth Line Rd.
