Loyalist Family Health Team (LFHT) has announced the return of the Seniors Expo for 2024 for the second year. This year, the event will be taking place at Odessa Fairgrounds.
Last year, the first ever seniors expo in the township brought seniors and services together at the W.J. Henderson Centre. The event saw nearly 300 people attend with around 50 service providers and vendors present. This year, LFHT looks to bring even more exhibitors to the area, and hopes attendance will be even greater.
The seniors expo aims to help residents in the area learn about programs and services to support healthy, social, and active lives for seniors. Participating exhibitors include social clubs, health and wellness groups, transportation services, financial and legal services, as well as medical and emergency services.
The event, scheduled in June, also celebrates Seniors Month.
The 2024 Seniors Expo expo takes place June 6 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Odessa Fairgrounds.
