Sarah Zimmerman is busy running her second campaign as the Skeena Riding NDP candidate in the upcoming provincial election on October 19th.
She has been a vocal advocate for housing and healthcare in her hometown of Terrace, BC and works as a communications consultant. Zimmerman has touted the “great track record” of the BC NDP in addressing the housing crisis, stating “we’ve seen quite a bit of investment in housing over the last 7 years, and I dare say more than we’ve seen in any 7 year period prior to that some of the changes that the BC NDP has put into place is making meaningful impact in communities.”
Claire Rattée, a former District of Kitimat councillor is the provincial Conservative party Skeena riding candidate and The Christian Heritage Party candidate is Irwin Jefferey, and Teri Young is the BC Green Party candidate. CICK News will also be doing interviews with other candidates.
