Police and search groups were called out on Tuesday to look for a man missing in the woods on back of Country Road in Corner Brook.
Royal Newfoundland Constabulary Cst. James Cadigan says there was concern for the man’s safety since he had not been heard form since noon that day.
Krista Targett, a member and treasurer of the Bay of Islands Volunteer Search and Rescue group, says they got the call to help around 4 p.m. on Tuesday and 15 members showed up to help. They formed four teams to begin walking the trails. Tarbett says the man made his way through and ended up at the end of the trail system around 5:40 Tuesday evening where he was reunited with family.
