Entering into the Christmas season, Lift Community Choir is presenting two performances in Saint John in early December. The choir was founded by its artistic director David Caird in September 2023, since which time it has seen rapid growth.
Caird spoke about creating a community around music, and the aim of providing an uplifting environment for choir members and audiences alike. Members of the choir, Harold, Jan, Irma, and Tzigane, also talked about their experiences in the choir, the joy that they feel that they get out of it, and the difference coming together to sing has made in their lives.
