Local runner Alex Quinn’s unique story about his endeavour to run 100 miles (160 kms) around Saint John’s King Square is being shared in the documentary, Running in Circles: 100 Miles to Save a Life.
The film, by Spencer Hetherington & Isaac Oxley, had a special showing at the Imperial Theatre on October 15th.
Quinn decided to do his amazing run to raise awareness of mental health struggles and the prevention of suicide.
Alex spoke about his own struggles with anxiety and panic attacks, as well as the documentary and the epic run itself, conveying the importance of openness and doing uncomfortable and difficult things.
