After sitting vacant for over three years, the Café space at the Peterborough Public Library (PPL) is again in operation. On July 10, Revelstoke Café opened a downtown location in this space, in addition to their flagship restaurant location.
“We were hunting for someone to run it after our last café operator had to close due to COVID,” says Mark Stewart, PPL Library Services Manager.
Owner, Conner Clarkin, opened Revelstoke Café in 2019; the restaurant is a plant-based eatery, located at 641 George St. N. Their new PPL location will not be entirely vegan, but will still offer “plant forward” options.
‘Revelstoke Café at the Library’ will be open 10 a.m.-5 p.m. every day, on the second floor of the PPL.
