A 572-unit residential development in Erin was met with worries at a public meeting, mainly concerns surrounding wildlife protection and environmental protection.
The proposed 155-acre development would be located at 5520 Eighth Line and 5552 Eighth Line.
It would take clearing all trees from the properties to make the development happen, something that ruffled feathers with council and some residents in attendance of a public meeting on Thursday.
Council also was concerned with the rapid timeline that would see construction in 2026, but tree clearing as early as March of this year.
CICW has more from Thursday’s public meeting in Erin.
