A group of pro-Palestine protesters is calling for the resignation of Immigration Minister Marc Miller.
Speaking outside the Palais de Justice Thursday morning, Samar Alkhdour told reporters that she’s tired of waiting for an apology from the Minister, after his staff accused her and two other protesters of criminal harassment.
The Crown dropped those charges last month, but Mohanned Mansour, who was named in the suit alongside Alkhdour, told reporters he has filed counter charges against the staff for false accusations.
Minister Miller’s office did not respond to a request for comment from CKUT.
