Prescott Russell had a team of ghost chasers in 2014, but some members of the team had to step away when “life happened” said Debbie Charbonneau, the team leader. But — they have now started up again.
The team, which had been a large group, is now a group of four, including two former investigators and one new investigator. They use special equipment to investigate public and private buildings, if invited.
The job is voluntary and the purpose is to help people who are concerned about possible paranormal activity. Before going on site a team member interviews the client, then the team discusses the case.
Charbonneau says sometimes they can debunk the ghost claim and other times it seems there is something paranormal going on. In any case they can reassure the client that they aren’t imagining things.
