Beck scored twice for the Spirit in a 4-3 victory over their Ontario Hockey League rival London Knights in the championship game Sunday, June 2.
The 20-year-old played for the OHL champion Peterborough Petes at the 2023 Memorial Cup in Kamloops, B.C. after being traded from Mississauga Steelheads. He was dealt to a contending team at the trade deadline for the second straight year this season.
