Six Nations Police (SN Police) are asking for the public’s help in identifying suspects in a gun related incident that took place on Jan. 20.
Police say they received reports of gunshots in the Harold Road area in Ohsweken. After arriving on the scene shortly after 3 p.m., officers identified an individual suffering from a gunshot wound who was transported to a local hospital in stable condition.
Witnesses described a black SUV picking up two individuals and leaving the area at a high rate of speed after the incident.
Police are now asking the public to report any suspicious activity or any sightings of the suspects or their suspected vehicle by calling 9-1-1 and anyone who may have been in the area and witnessed anything to call 519-445-2811.
SN Police says the investigation is ongoing and any further details will be released at a later time. SN Police were not available for comment to CJKS at the time of publication.
