Partners in Mission Food Bank is officially making the move to a new, larger space to accommodate for continued increase in demand.
The organization has been located in a 7,200 square foot building at 140 Hickson Avenue since 2003. However, a change is needed as demand continues to rise in the Kingston community, with the organization helping 8,147 Kingstonians in 2023 and entering their fourth year of record numbers.
“We’ve just maxed out what we can do here,” says Dan Irwin, Executive Director of Partners in Mission.
In spring 2025, PIM will be making the move just 25 meters away to 4 Harvey street, doubling their space for food storage, volunteers, and visitors.
