The 4th edition of Trep Freestyle’s Community Event drew over 3300 spectators to Valcourt despite limited snow this past Sunday. The highlight was the Extreme Snowmobile Jumping competition, transforming Valcourt into a winter wonderland of excitement.
Three skilled athletes, including Pier-Luc Trépanner, affectionately called “Trep,” showcased their extreme sports prowess in front of the Armand Bombardier Museum. Notably, Martin Deslandes and Joe Belzile, made the 14-hour trip from Abitibi in an electric car to join the extreme sports event.
The athletes performed daring jumps of 62 to 65 feet, gauging speed with precision. The captivating display continued for an hour, followed by a second show at 2:00 PM.
Valcourt is gearing up for another snowmobile extravaganza next weekend, hosting the Grand Prix de Valcourt snowmobile races from February 9th to 11th.
