Open Farm Days has returned for another year, adding a new on-farm culinary event called ‘Gather’ to bring together a wide array of local food producers.
As of last year, the weekend event was extended to be a full month and a half of celebrating local agriculture and community.
‘Gather’, spearheaded by owner of Bloom Farm Tara Williamson and owner of Rampant Kitchen Elisa Corrigan, will feature eight stations offering food and drink pairings with ingredients from different local farms. The event will take over the space at Bloom Farm from 3 P.M. to 7 P.M. on Sept. 14, 2024.
The Open Farm Days events continue through to the end of September, with details available on openfarms.ca.
