On January 25th, members of the Six Nations Police received reports of shots fired and a vehicle being rammed which led to which led to a high speed chase.
The Six Nations Police attempted to initiate a traffic stop during the high speed chase but the suspect failed to stop. The Six Nations Police then attempted to initiate a suspect apprehension pursuit, which led the vehicle to Argyle St. in Caledonia. The Six Nations Police disengaged pursuit due to dense fog and heavy traffic, and were assisted by the Haldimand Ontario Provincial Police (OPP).
The suspects were then taken into custody by the Haldimand OPP. Brayden Doxtator, 26, and Matthew Hill, 19, of Ohsweken have both been charged with multiple offences and will be held in custody pending a formal bail hearing.
