The Whaletown Community Club (WCC) has begun new public programming every Saturday at the Gorge Hall. The weekly events will rotate Karaoke and Open Jams by donation.
Shaun Canaday has been the social convener for the past two years now, a volunteer role with the WCC that is tasked with organizing public gatherings for the community. He explained the motivation for the new programming.
“We had a few staff parties where we put karaoke on at the hall … Lots of people have asked and asked for this to happen.”
