Cobourg continues to be one of the backdrops for the Netflix series Ginny & Georgia with some filming for season three set to take place today (Thursday) in town.
Members of the production crew were preparing on Wednesday for filming the next day. Locations include The EL, William Academy, Victoria Park near the bandshell, Victoria Hall for exterior shots and traveling shots on roads with intermittent traffic stops. Flags downtown have been replaced by American flags because the series is set in Wellsbury, Massachusetts.
There will be intermittent traffic stoppages on King Street West from 9 a.m. to 2 a.m. while Albert Street from Hibernia to Durham will be closed from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m.
