Russell Township Council has again chosen electronic or telephone voting as the only voting options in the upcoming by-election for Council.
Julian Hunt, who is a candidate in the election, is also a high-tech person who has worked in the crypto realm. He explains some of the issues with safeguarding electronic voting, and how it can be made more secure, while alleviating fears of election tampering or glitches.
The by-election is September 30 and is being held to replace Mike Tarnowski who was appointed as Mayor after the previous mayor resigned to take a new job.
