After a fire left Native Horizons Treatment Centre without a home for their programs in 2018, the organization celebrated the grand re-opening of the facility yesterday.
Native Horizons Treatment facility offers a variety of programs assisting individuals with mental health and addictions, while maintaining traditional and cultural values.
Since 2018, Native Horizons Treatment Centre Executive Director Wanda Smith says they’ve received over 9,000 calls of locals looking for support, but many had to be turned away due to not having an actual treatment facility.
Native Horizons Treatment Centre is located at 130 New Credit Rd. and more information on programs can be found at nhtc.ca.
