For more than 37 years, a simple red ribbon has served as a powerful reminder to drive responsibly. From November 1 to January 6, Mothers Against Drunk Driving (MADD) and its chapters across the country distribute thousands of red ribbons and car decals urging people to never drive impaired.
MADD launched this year’s annual Red Ribbon Campaign on Friday December 6 to promote sober driving during the holiday season.

In NL so far in 2024, 31 people have died in 27 crashes. RNC Chief Pat Roche says it’s unbelievable that impaired driving is continuing.
