Eddie Joyce, MHA for the Bay of Islands, continues to ask questions in the Newfoundland and Labrador House of Assembly about the lack of an oncologist at the radiation unit in the new Corner Brook hospital.
At the House of Assembly this week, Joyce stated he “understands there’s a shortage of these specialists across the country, but government has had five years to find one.” He says more incentives would maybe attract these specialists.
A new hospital for Corner Brook was announced in 2015.
