Mission is a city with many development projects underway, but how can a small B.C. town maintain its culture and commitment to inclusivity while growing? The mayor has an answer.
CIVL Radio interviewed Mayor Paul Horn about, as he describes, his dedication to developments that improve the quality of life for Mission citizens.
He outlined several plans for parks, industrial and mixed residential developments in the area and emphasized the importance of walkability and connectivity.
“The more that people don’t have to commute. The more that they run into their neighbours at the local park, or coffee shop,” said Horn. “The better off people will be in terms of having that community feel that is so much a part of Mission.”
