Corner Brook RCMP issued an advisory to motorists after an oil spill occurred today in Newfoundland.
Cpl. Jolene Garland says anyone driving from the east heading into Corner Brook will not get through. The spill is massive and volatile leading to business evacuations in the area, according to RCMP, and traffic is at a standstill and long lines are starting to form. It’s unknown how long it will take to clean up the spill and open the highway again.
