A major winter storm is expected to hit the Ottawa valley and Western Quebec area Tuesday night and will continue through to Wednesday morning, according to Environment Canada.
The City of Ottawa has put a parking ban in place for Jan. 10 from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. so the city can plow the streets uninterrupted. This time may be extended if the storm worsens overnight. Additional parking warehouses can be found on their winter parking website.
