Saint John publishing company, Partridge Island Publishing, or PIP, is on the verge of opening The Write Cup, a bookstore cafe to be located in Uptown Saint John, aimed – mostly – at writers and readers.
After just five years business, the not-for-profit publishing company has grown beyond the space it previously held at the Area 506 Container Village on the Saint John Waterfront.
Founders Shannon Dykens and Amanda Evans spoke with Local 107.3FM about the progress they have made towards opening the cafe (hopefully early in the new year), their future plans, and how customers will be able to order an editor from the menu.
