Hundreds of Montrealers rallied on Friday evening for the annual International Women’s Day march.
The crowd began to gather in Dorchester Square at 5:30, with speeches starting at 6 p.m. They then left the square, chanting and walking east along Saint Catherine and De Maisonneuve streets.
CKUT spoke to Dolores Chew from Women of Diverse Origins, which organized Friday’s event in collaboration with around a dozen community groups, as well as some of the attendees of Friday’s march.
