Anishinaabe artist Mr. Sauga’s newest album Earthbound contains a new song inspired by the Indian Act, first passed back in 1876. The title of the work is ‘When an Indian Acts Up’ (WAIA UP)

During the interview with CKRZ News, Mr. Sauga (aka Jordan Jamieson) spoke about the song, the album and about where he got his name, “Mr. Sauga”, which means “river of many mouths”.

Mr.Sauga also spoke about the process of working on the project and how it was recorded at Jukasa Studio’s and engineered by Jill Zimmermen.
