Highlands East Mayor Dave Burton recently was elected to the position of Warden of Haliburton County, but it’s not the first time he’s been in that role. Taking over for Liz Danielson, who held the Warden’s seat for six terms, Burton is eager to develop a more collaborative approach with the four lower tier governments in the County.
