Kingston’s chapter of the Give30 Campaign yet again surpassed their previous fundraising record, raising a grand total of $28,958.43 for Partners in Mission Food Bank.
Give 30, an annual campaign that encourages donations to local food banks beginning during the month of Ramadan, supports 17 major food banks and anti-poverty organizations across the country. The campaign has been in Kingston since 2014, in partnership with Partners in Mission Food Bank.
In a release announcing the total, Executive Director of Partners in Mission Dan Irwin stated, “Partners in Mission Food Bank continues to be astounded by the support we receive in our community. Thank you again for your generous support of this year’s Kingston Give 30 campaign.”
