On March 6^th it was announce via Six Nations Elected Council (SNEC) facebook page that March 7^th, 2024 would be the final day for Six Nations community members to to hand submit First Nations water settlement applications.

This was posted after numerous questions and concerns were raised by community members after it was reported that Six Nations of the Grand River was on not on the communal list for the water settlement.

Following the post made by SNEC, there was another post with a quote from chief Sherri Lynn Hill thanking community members for their patience as staff worked to assist people with their claim and forms.
