Loyalist Township has announced their Family Day event for 2025 will be taking place at the W.J. Henderson Recreation Centre, even though the renewal of the aquatic area is still underway.
The event will be taking place mainly in the arena, library, and parking lot. Public skating will be open for the duration of the event, with ice resurfacing taking place mid-way through.
Loyalist Township Emergency Services will be giving truck tours, and doing giveaways throughout the event as well.
Inside, there will be stations for colouring, temporary tattoos, and lego. The event lasts from noon until 2pm, and is free to attend.
