Six people have been charged with drugs and weapons related offences after a drug trafficking investigation was conducted by the Six Nations Police Service (SN Police) with assistance from Brantford Police Service on Oct. 8.
The investigation labelled “Project Sideshow” saw 6 search warrants executed by police at residencies in both Six Nations and Brantford.
SN Police say the search warrants resulted in cocaine, hydromorphone, currency, and a loaded handgun with ammunition being seized.
Shanna Vanevery(31), Robert Frank Vanevery(29), Patricia King(46), Airlie McKenney(23), and Robert George Vanevery(54) were all jointly charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking both cocaine and hydromorphone, as well as proceeds of crime under $5,000.
Cameron Grieves(24) was also charged in the investigation with a number of weapons related charges.
The accused are set to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice.
