The County’s fund for new and existing events and products in the area has an all new set of guidelines this year. With dedicated marketing support as a highlight, there were also other major changes made to the Naturally L&A Activation Fund this week.
Successful projects can receive up to $5,000, now including 20% for marketing support directly through Naturally L&A, a program of the Lennox and Addington Economic Development Office. According to the report, this includes a dedicated landing page for the project on the Naturally L&A website, as well as online ads. Staff noted that marketing had been underutilized by project organizers in previous years.
General program guidelines have been changed to reflect a different set of eligible projects, as well as offering a continuous intake period.
Staff noted that by providing dedicated marketing support, narrowing the project focus, and extending the intake period, the program will provide a better potential return on investment for both project organizers and the county.
